Check out my blog entries to see what I have to say about this and that. I haven’t been the greatest at updating my blog in the past but I have a lot more free time on my hands now so hopefully that will change. Feel free to leave your comments and ask questions.

So I’ve been off work for awhile and am pretty much ready to go back to work now. I spent the weekend applying for jobs and even setting my profile up with a couple of temp agencies. I know that I’m going to need to interview at least a few times this week but have always had trouble with tying a tie. I looked up a few videos on YouTube but found this one to be the most...helpful. ; ) I hope ya’ll enjoy it as much as me. Wish me luck on my job hunt!

While I was passing through security at the airport the woman who checked my ID pointed out that my ID was going to expire while I was away. I almost had my roommate overnight my passport to CT so that there would be no problems coming back but when she said it would probably cost about $40 I decided to just take a chance. Turns out you can use an expired ID to get through airport security - I don’t know for how long but there were no problems. Yesterday I went to the DMV to get a new ID and to renew my license! WEEEEEEE! I haven’t had a license in about three years so I was pretty excited. It had been suspended because I racked up too many points in a short window of time. I had to pass a vision test and written exam and tadaaa! Now I just have to get a job again so I can buy a car =)

So I have been out of town with Tristan for most of the previous two weeks. We flew out on the 8th for New York and stayed the night in Jersey City. It doesn’t sound too glamourous but our view from the hotel of the water and the New York skyline was really nice. We had to check out of our hotel by 1 and our call time wasn’t until 4 so we spent most of the next day walking around in the super cold weather. Dark Alley Media had flown us out to shoot an oil themed scene for them. I’m waiting on pictures from them still but I think the scene should turn out to be pretty hot. We wore orange jumpsuits and had oil and grease stains all over our bodies. The scene only took a couple of hours and then we went to dinner at Chili’s with the Dark Alley crew. One of the guys was nice enough to drive us to Grand Central after dinner so we could catch the train to Connecticut. Tristan is from CT so we spent a few days there to visit his friends and family. The area we were in is pretty small town and spread out. It was really pretty out - most of the leaves had already fallen but there were still a few trees full of bright yellow and orange leaves. My birthday was on the 11th - I went out to dinner with T and his mom after visiting his grandmother at her house. It wasn’t the most exciting of birthdays but we had fun and got to spend time together. I met a few of his friends which did answer a few questions I had about him. There wasn’t too much to do while we were there so we went to Chili’s, hung out at T’s house, went to a restaurant/bar and just hung out. Overall it was a good time in CT. I realized things about myself I hadn’t before and achieved some more insight into Tristan as well. We took a disposable camera but haven’t exhausted the pictures on there yet. Once that’s done I’ll put up a photo album of our trip. Next, a couple of days in Los Angeles and then we visit my family.
